New Open Mic Event!

Dear Open Micers,

Thank you all families, friends, teachers, and administrators for your attendance at the Martin Luther King Day celebration at the Christian Theological Seminary with The Peace Learning Center. Pictures will be posted on Blairkarsch.com and Onyourlevel.org soon! Also add Blair Karsch’s Open Mic Group to your Facebook. The celebration was Grand! The next scheduled event is Friday March 25, 2011 from 8-10pm at the Starbucks at Willow Lakes West just east of 86th and Michigan Road. If you would like to perform in this event please come early to sign in at 7pm. We are eager for input, ideas, locations for events, poetry workshops, and not for profit faith based collaborations. Open Mic Nights are a collaboration between community partners to give young people a venue to express artistic spoken-word work. We try to host three in the fall and three in the spring. They are open to the public and all forms of entertainment are welcome, all content is for general audiences.
